Do I need a referral to see a physical therapist?
Starting September 1, 2019, patients in the state of Texas have direct access to physical therapy. With this change, patients can see a physical therapist for up to two weeks or 10 business days without needing a physician’s referral.
Why are you out of network with insurance companies?
Medella Physical Therapy seeks to provide patients with direct one-on-one care by a physical therapist. Most insurance companies dictate how much time is spent with a PT and what treatment is provided. Medella’s goal is to provide patients with exactly what they need to meet their individual goals.
How much does each session cost?
Medella Physical Therapy tailors each session to your individual needs. As a result, Sarah provides fee for service options with payment being required at time of service. Current pricing is $185 for a 1 hour session.
